That looks very close.  But I'm also seeing -2 being returned:

[Fri Jul 28 08:30:48 2006] [error] [client 172.16.44.246] Inflate error
-2 on flush, referer: http://server.domain.co.uk/
[Fri Jul 28 08:30:49 2006] [error] [client 172.16.44.246] Inflate error
-5 on flush, referer: http://server.domain.co.uk/

Would this be cured by the same fix?
