Feel free to try it.  AIUI the main limitation is that it may not work
with connection-level filters (most importantly SSL) or certain
system-level modules like mod_backdoor.

IMO removing the "experimental" branch from normal modules
was a mistake.  It leaves no way to signal to users that a module
(as opposed to an entire release) has a status of "we believe it
works, but it hasn't had enough real-world exposure yet
to say for certain".
