I guess you want some kind of "speedometer" display?

Not in the core distribution.. the extension module mod_status gives a lot of info (http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_status.html). Beyond that, you could look for a 3rd party module (http://modules.apache.org/) or google for a commercial product.
