Hello,I recently downloaded the xampp project for Linux, which includes the Apache web server along with mysql and php, etc. http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html, and I put the Autonomous LAN Party software on it. http://www.nerdclub.net/alp/
The problem I am having is that none of the .gif images appear on any of the pages. When using Firefox, it instead shows either a link to where the image is supposed to link, or plain text that would be the image name or tooltip info. When using IE, I see an empty square. I am going to assume this is a problem with the configuration of my server, and that is what the ALP guys thought as well. I'm very new and I have no idea where to start looking for the problem. If anyone can give me some advice on where to look or has had this problem and can tell me how to fix it, I would be very appreciative. Thank you.
