[users@httpd] Apache installation problem -socket address usage

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi everyone,
can anyone out there help me. I'm trying to install Apache but whenever I try to run it, I get a window with the text below:

"(OS 10048) Only one usage of each socket address <protocol/network address/port> is normally permitted. :make_sock    could not bind to address 0.0.0.0.80
-no listening sockets available, shutting down. Unable to open logs."

I've managed to iron out a few problems before I got to this stage but this has got me stumped. Can anybody help?

Many thanks,
Ian Western
