Well, chunked encoding from the client is a rarely-seen-in-the-wild
thing, and there has been a fair bit of work trying to support it
correctly in recent versions.  So at minimum, you should go up to the
latest released version before you test it any further.

But you may also need to try the forthcoming 2.0.55 release, which is
in testing:
