Heyas,get a router that supports your dynamic dns provider (dyndns is the most common).
I have a Draytek Vigor 2600 for example and it can update even custom dyndns without any problems or additional software.
I do not think that any programs can be loaded into the routers. I prefer not to use a software router because I do not want multiple PCs running all of the time.
