So I have to use ...

RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} =+"litId=\d+"

... instead of ...

RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^litId\=\d+$

... if I want to use the %1 reference? If so, is my syntax correct? I
tried that earlier and it didn't work until I switched over to regex.
Can I combine parentheses and regex?
