RE: [users@httpd] Apache on WinXP won't startup

The apache.exe is one folder above the bin level in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache.
So it worked this time, but I got the following message:
*********************************************************************************************
C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache>apache -k stop
Cannot read apache PID file c:/program files/apache group/apache/logs/httpd.pid
**********************************************************************************************
Well that's not surprising because it's not there!
