[users@httpd] Random Link error

Jason,

You need to rule out network access problems which
have nothing to do with your server. You may have
problems associated with your client's network, for
example.

I've just been to your site and clicked several links
with no problems.

The usual list of suspects are:

   Performance issue with server
   Network access from client
   Network access from server

If you have only one client network you see this on
(because you use only one client for yourself, I
mean), try to go to someone else's network and try
many link clicks from there. I experienced a hotmail
server issue once that repeated itself from different
cable networks but not from a dialup network (!) (it
was hotmail's fault, by the way, which they confirmed,
and it lasted for three days!).

If you suspect you have a server related issue, try
accessing other sites from a client on your server's
network, or even your server itself (which may not
always be possible or desirable), to see if you can
duplicate the problem.

===================================

Hello, I am new to the list but that is because
this is the first time I have ever had a problem with
Apache in the last few years that I couldn't solve by
just reading the manual. I have installed Apache 2.0
on a RedHat 9.0 system. I have also installed PHP 4
something (I forget at the moment) and MySQL. The
problem is the fact that most of the time 80% when you
click on a link on my website (http://www.ortv.com)
everything works fine. But for some reason sometimes
you will click on a link, or I have a page redirect
and I get a page not found error. The weird part is
that when I hit the refresh button, everything works
fine. I don't change anything it just decided to
work.

This is getting to be anoying and I can't seem
to fiqure out what might be the problem. It just
happens radomly and it will happen to both PHP and
regular HTML pages. Does anyone know what might be
the problem or what setting I am missing?

Thank You

Jason
