RE: [users@httpd] Apache install

Are you sure you stopped it, that is, you can do 'ps -ef' and see no httpd 
processes?  If it's still in there, kill the parent process and try again.  
If not, it's clear that something else has grabbed port 443.  Find it and 
shut it down, if you can.
