Subject: [users@httpd] httpd - web service - port number change

Hi,

Am having a problem with the Apache Web Server related to the Port Number
change.

Shouldn't changing the Listen Port Directive in the httpd.conf file be
sufficient to change the port number where the webserver ,
will be listening for requests , followed by a restart of the service ?

This simple approach is not working for a custom build binary , made from
httpd-2.0.53 tar ball.
Please help.

regards,
Sujith

I used

Listen 8088
ServerName myhost.me.me:8088
<VirtualHost *:8088>
