First, welcome.

Second, this is the list for user's questions, so you've come to the right
place. If you're concerned about mis-using this list, I'd suggest reading
this document:

The most important suggestion I can give you is this: do your research
before asking questions. There are a lot of great resources out on the net
which can help you out with basic things. If you get lost or you just can't
make sense of something, send in your question.
