What are some use-cases of a configuration where you have Apache webserver configured as a reverse proxy (SSL terminated) to a haproxy. Haproxy in turn is configured as a proxy to various Tomcat webapps over http.

This is a open ended question. Obviously in a Clustered environment, one would want loadbalancing as well.
