Hi Bill,I tried your config and i can recreate your problem. But as Eric just said in another mail, your browser is not using https to speak to https proxy. And i verified that wget speaks http when you point out the "https_proxy" environment variable.
I get the same errors as you mention when i run "lwp-request" with HTTP (naturally):
$ lwp-request -m GET -p "http://localhost:8443/" https://www.google.com However, when i explicitly tell "lwp-request" to use HTTPS it works fine! $ lwp-request -m GET -p "https://localhost:8443/" https://www.google.com So, your config is not at fault really, maybe the implementation is though. /Björn --------------------------------------------------------------------- The official User-To-User support forum of the Apache HTTP Server Project.
