Hi Takashi
I am trying to write a alsa driver for  DAC device ( pcm1742 texas instrument ). I was investigating the code you have written for  Philips UDA1341TS. I would like to get some advice. do you think  it is  good idea to go over your code. should I search for some other device. where can I get much better information on writing an alsa driver.
Thanks
Regards,

OK, I added the entry for your device and committed to HG tree now.

version.  Make sure that you start the mixer for the secondary
device.
