My card is running on an ASUS A8JM laptop 00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Aud io Controller (rev 02) Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Issuing /etc/init.d/alsasound restart will freeze the machine.
