Ah. Nice option, but this probably means that all CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL
drivers won't get built by default, right?

In which case I'd have to act in my driver's area, since it certainly
absolutely should get built by default.

I'd think so too, which is why I wanted to do the Wine test since I'm
not absolutely 130% certain that my driver is stable. It is certainly
99.9% stable, but there are still some remaining tiny nagging doubts...

Oh, ALSA doesn't have anything here yet?
That's pretty crucial if you want to guarantee a certain service quality
over the full range of ALSA sound drivers...
(but I'm stating the obvious here ;)
