The reason I asked is because I'm adding a new configure option
--with-experimental to toggle on/off CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL for
alsa-driver tree.

Also, from my understanding, CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL refers to stability
of the driver.

That's true.  We'd need own sound test suite, too.
