When I use modprobe snd-hda-intel model=auto I get playback: PCM, front(controls headphones), side(controls internal speaker), center, lfe, internal mic, mic, ... capture: 3x Capture The Microphone (Internal, or external if connected) works when I unmute the first capture channel and set its input source to Front Mic. Sometimes the center channel controls the speaker at the bottom of the laptop, sometimes it doesnt, seems kind of random. I have uploaded the requested files. The capture levels are set to 0 because all mixer levels seem to get set to 0 whenever I unload the module in order to reload it with a different module-option. When I set the first capture level to 100% and select front-mic as source the microphone works when using these models: auto 6stack 6stack-digout lg lg-lw I have not been able to get any sound except occasional static noise from the capture channels when using: default (no model option) 3stack 3stack-digout 5stack 5stack-digout w810 z71v asus uniwill F1734 (I can get playback to work with all models) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- tiwai - 06-27-06 12:26 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- OK, then let's get back to the beginning.
