'Full emergency' at Gatwick

A 'FULL emergency' was called at Gatwick when a plane
trying to land suffered a hydraulic leak.

The Monarch Air Boeing 757 touched down safely around
1pm and the situation was downgraded to local standby
when it was dealt with by BAA Gatwick fire crew.

No one was hurt and a spokesman from BAA said: "The
plane landed safely and there were no issues with
passengers or damage."
