What is a "living" wage?
According to my research, the average starting pay for baggage handlers is about $8.30 an hour, regardless of the employer (i.e. either the airline itself or a third party).

This incident had nothing to do with the pay of the employee. Rather, it had to do with the stupidity of the employee.
