David I have RoadRunner and it does the same thing.  It's something to do 
with the host? server.  IIRC list owner has to make some sort of change at 
their end.  I have to apologize because I'm one that for the most part 
forgets to delete it.  But in all honesty this is the only board that I'm on 
that does this.  Probably why I forget
