Take 2 lousy seconds out of your life and delete my address when you are replying to the Airline List!

I'm tired of getting duplicates everytime I post something to the list and somebody replies. While it doesn't cost me extra except wasted time, don't forget there are some people who get charged by their ISP for each and every byte and/or message they receive.

Already today I've received duplicate e-mails from Richard A Whitenight and Travel Pages. I am interested in what you guys have to say but not interested enough to receive 2 copies of your e-mails.

The problem occurs because the list server that Airline List uses is not too smart so when you reply, it will place not only the list's address (airline@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) but also the orginal poster's address.

I can see someone not deleting the extra address every so often but there are some people that I consistently get two e-mails from. For the others, such as Alizera, I thank you for having the courtesy of deleting the extra address.

Now, back to our regular programming,

This is a tough call all right.

Scenario 1:

Man says he has bomb. Man runs. Man goes into bag where he said bomb was.
Officer fires. Man dies.

Scenario 2:

Officer pauses to investigate. Man is a true terrorist, bomb is real, bomb goes off in Jetway. TSA pays heavy media price as dozens of vacationing civilians die due to officer hesitation. Nation goes into red alert mode, Wall Street get jumpy.

Youmake a good point. In a situation like this the suspect should not be shot. I'm not talking about the fact that he was mentally ill. Rather, it would be better to incapacite then they authorities can question him about possible conspirators.
