Again, I doubt seriously there will be any bookings for MID.  Maybe a few
relief workers but no bookings from the general public.

There is more demand for traffic to Cancun than Merida.

Of course they are.  I totally agree that the main reason for the MID
flights
is to get their 1200 (wow!!) passengers out of Cancun, however, I am betting
that if they see strong bookings, MID may just be on the list of new places
to
go
