I have mix feelings about the attorneys. In some respect I agree with David that the stupid lawsuits are driving costs high. Lawsuits like Cessna seat locking mechanism, Lycoming crankshaft, etc. etc. is making aviation more and more expensive. The same thing goes where the lawyers of the Minnessota governer suing the instrument manufacturer, or Steven Spielberg's sister suing American Airlines for turbulance.. I loved the British judge that threw out the case against McDonalds. (I think it was about the hot coffee issue).. On the other hand, if it wasn't to a great lawyer I woulnd't be able to operate my business against a City that wanted to do everything to keep me off of Renton Airport because of their relationships with other businesses.
