ANNAPOLIS, Md., Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, the US Patent and Trademark Office issued patent number 6,842,737 to iJET Travel Intelligence. The patent concerns the systems developed by iJET in early 2000 that electronically match intelligence with traveler profiles in order to provide value-added services, including pre-trip briefs and real time alerts.

"This is a milestone event for our company," stated Bruce McIndoe, iJET CEO. "We have taken pride in bringing innovations to the market that provide immediate benefits to our clients in terms of protection and productivity. Receiving a patent for those innovations is further recognition of the hard work of the iJET professional team."

"Receiving a patent on our core operating system has been gratifying," acknowledged Greg Meyer, iJET Chief Technology Officer, "but we are continuing the development of new technologies and inventions to meet our clients' needs for fully integrated crisis response systems and solutions."

iJET launched its Worldcue® Risk Management System in April of 2001, and today is a leader in providing intelligent risk systems that protect employees and other dispersed corporate assets.
