Just returned from a week in MZT (Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico). Flew on CO thru IAH. Nothing spectacular to warrant a trip report, but as we taxied to our 'Hard Stand' yesterday into IAH (yes, the elderly CO Express F/A onboard our EMB-135 actually used that term!)...What should my wondering eyes should appear, a Pakistan International 777! I don't keep up with these things, and it was a surprise something that off the wall served IAH. The PIA 777 disgorged its masses at the same time we arrived at customs, however they sent them all into a different line. I asked a Customs officer what was the story on PIA, and he said they come into twice a week. Checking today, I see this is a one stop flight thru Manchester. My question, what warrants PIA to serve Houston, they don't have a code-share (at least I couldn't find anything) with CO! I could believe Air India, but not PIA. Bryant Petitt Cumming, GA Footnote: My Pakistani shirt embroiderer travels quite a bit worldwide, but he avoids PIA like the plague..... __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
