Northwest Air Hikes Lowest Fare Classes $5 Each Way>NWAC Thursday December 16, 5:33 PM EST NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Northwest Airlines Corp. (NWAC) hiked its lowest fares, paid by half of its domestic customers, by $5 each way. Northwest spokesman Kurt Ebenhoch said the Eagan, Minn., airline increased those fares that compete with low-cost carrier fares.
