Forget type and maintenance and the "hype" of the SST disaster, it's plain
rotten law -- in a country where you are guilty until proven innocent.
It is not just French law.  It is the law all over the world.  If something
falls off of your airplane, you are responsible for it.  This has nothing to do
with the system of criminal law.  Besides, this is a tort
