I'd have to agree. They've been my least favorite U.S. airline since the Allegheny (Agony!) days. Their mergers/acquisitions never made much sense, and when they did, they squandered the resources (e.g., PSA). It always seemed like an airline made up out of ill-fitting parts, without a rational fleet strategy or a rational route strategy. I don't like seeing a lot of airline people lose their jobs all at once, but if one major airline has to be sacrificed in the current economic climate in order to save the rest, I'd be happiest if it were US.
