If you're going by CMSA, then New York City has 7 airports with
scheduled commercial jet flights: JFK, LGA, EWR, Islip (ISP) White
Plains (HPN), Newburgh/Stewart (SWF), and New Haven (HVN). Throw
turboprops into the mix, and you can add Trenton (TTN). That's also not
including Teterboro, which is enjoined from scheduled service, but
handles tons and tons of traffic nonetheless. The Washington DC CMSA
stays at 3 jet airports: DCA, IAD, and BWI, although Hagerstown (HGR)
has turboprop service.
