The Irish carrier said profit after tax for the three months to June 30 was 52.6 million euros ($63.1 million), up from 40.5 million euros in the same period a year ago. Passenger numbers increased 28 percent during the quarter to reach 6.6 million, while revenue rose 23 percent to 302.8 million euros ($363.4 million).
