Al, Actually flight following shows on the fboweb.com in the history section. But, it's a good point you bring up.. On a different note, if I call an ATC and request a flight following do you guys make a strip? I know you issue a squawk code, but those seam to be a generic ones; such as 44XX for all the VFR traffic in our sector type of thing.. Baha If the aircraft were flying VFR you normally wouldn't be able to track it. VFR flights would not "require" a flight plan. Flight following (if used) would not normally be available to tracking sites.+ Al ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bahadir Acuner" <bahadiracuner@xxxxxxxxx> To: <AIRLINE@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, June 23, 2004 11:24 PM Subject: Re: can someone flight track a GA aircraft? > Couldn't find anything.. > > -----Original Message----- > From: The Airline List [mailto:AIRLINE@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Mark > Panitz > Sent: Wednesday, June 23, 2004 7:40 PM > To: AIRLINE@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: can someone flight track a GA aircraft? > > Can anyone/someone track a GA (general [private aircraft? > if so heres the registration number > N172NP > (this is the flight that is being flown by a 13 year old to Wisconsin > from Compton) > thanks >
