Was the president on the aircraft? If not, then it wasn't AF1. I know this is picky but I feel the people who know about aviation should call aircraft by the correct name. The aircraft that carried President Reagan was a VC-25, call sign SAM2**** (there's two of them and the tail number begins with 2).
