Hawaiian Airlines, which filed for bankruptcy in March 2003, said the new timetable anticipates the carrier emerging in late October or November, about six weeks later than perviously planned. The revised schedule also has the support of Corporate Recovery Group LL= C, a Wilson, Wyo., holding company, and Hawaiian Holdings Inc., the owner of Hawaiian Airlines. Hawaiian Holdings isn't part of the bankruptcy filing and hasn't been involved with the management of the airline since a bankruptcy trustee was appointed in May 2003. Chicago-based Boeing, the airline's equipment lessor and one of its largest creditors, and Corporate Recovery in February filed a proposed plan of reorganization for the carrier in a bid to take control. Hawaiian Holdings filed a competing proposal. Boeing had initially opposed extending the bankruptcy timetable. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Copyright 2004 AP
