NEW YORK, April 7 (Reuters) - Continental Airlines (CAL

) said on Tuesday it will have a rare sale on first class fares on
flights inside the United States, as the still-weak U.S. airline
industry strives to attract customers.
The new fares, which must be ticketed by April 16, are roughly half
price, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Domestic first class seats are on sale for $479 each way from
Continental's New York, Houston and Cleveland hubs to several U.S.
destinations, the airline said in a release.
The airline also announced savings on its BusinessFirst class to Europe.
