Republic is the Indiana-based holding company that owns Chautauqua Airlines. Embraer will begin delivering the 50-seat jets in May, with the last deliveries due in September of 2005. Republic already owns 85 Embraer airplanes, a figure which will jump to 101 once deliveries are completed from Monday's contract. Republic has options to buy 34 more Embraer planes.
