FORT WORTH, Texas, March 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Airlines w=
ill add a second nonstop flight between Boston and San Jose, Calif., effe=
ctive June 10, providing another convenient link between the high-tech ce=
nters of the east and west coasts. =

tor- New England. "Our second flight to and from San Jose will allow trav=
elers to put in a full day of work -- or play -- before settling down for=
 a comfortable trip to their destination." =


American's additional flight to San Jose will operate daily and will be f=
lown with Boeing 757 aircraft arranged with 22 First-Class seats and 166 =
Main-Cabin seats. Here is American's schedule between Boston and San Jose=

The additional flight to San Jose is the latest in a series of schedule e=
nhancements American has made in Boston. A new, seasonal trans-Atlantic r=
oute linking Boston and Manchester, England, will be launched on May 15 w=
ith one daily nonstop flight in each direction. That service will continu=
e through Oct. 31. This past fall American added several seasonal flights=
 between Boston and various points in Florida, Mexico and the Caribbean. =


American also began new, seasonal service between Boston and New Orleans =
last fall. In all, the airline offers approximately 130 daily flights fro=
m Boston to destinations around the world, including London and Paris. =
