Kelleher was appointed Chairman of Southwest in 1978.

Took directions from Uncle Herb? Where did you get that from? Kelleher's
involvement with Southwest up until 1978 was almost exclusively legal and
investment. He had no experience running an airline while Muse who came
from Universal Airlines did.
