Now that Spirt has some additional cash, they're eyeing replacements for their MD-80s. Airbus, Embraer are in..Boeing is out in the bidding for 60 new aircraft. A mixed fleet of MadDogs and Buses? Only if Spirit is contemplating some point to point transcon outside the range of their Dogs. (I'm not a big fan of mixed fleets by the way) But then again, some jungle jets and A319s give 'em everything they need. Funny how the B717 was never mentioned.
