On the Discovery Wings Channel broadcast of an episode of "Airport" (about Heathrow ops) just now: A Czech probationary FA was asked what to do if there was a fire in the lav. She looked slightly taken aback, then went to an overhead and took out a smoke hood and fire extinguisher. She then went to the lav door and felt it to see if it was hot. Asked what to do if it was hot, she went back (to the galley?) and came back with a fire ax. She then said she would hack a hole in the door and squirt the extinguisher through the hole. Fire ax?? Where are the nail scissors and metal cutlery?
