According to the Southwest news release their price for a one-way flight from PHL to MSY is $159.00, yet US Airways quoted me a price of $212.20 for a return fare. The days were the same. The US Airways flight is direct while Southwest makes 1 or 2 stops. I didn't major in math at university but US Airways looks a bit cheaper to me though the intangibles of being able to say that you have been to Chicago and St. Louis ( maybe you could take in a baseball game while waiting on the connection ) and the extra packages of peanuts may be worth the extra cost. 2/12/2004 -0800, you wrote: >Well, Ian, not all of us can afford to throw away money, even if it is only >$50.
