Southwest, more than any other airline, allowed for more people to fly. Southwest increases air traffic between the cities it serves. Southwest provides what an airline should provide - transportation from Point A to Point B in a safe, efficient manner. If you want to pay extra or have even more restrictions on your fare, then fly the dinosaurs like United and American. When did airlines become flying restaurants? Me? I don't really give a flying rat's ass about the food on the plane. If I can't go a few hours with eating a meal then there is something wrong with me. Generally speaking, Southwest also provides more leg room.
