Airliner crashes in Uzbek capital



   (01-13) 08:50 PST MOSCOW (AP) --
   An An-24 airplane crashed late Tuesday in Uzbekistan's capital of
Tashkent, killing all aboard, the ITAR-Tass news agency reported. The
plane has a capacity of about 50 passengers.
   The report did not say how many people were on board the twin-engine
propeller plane. Uzbek officials could not immediately be reached for
confirmation.
   The report did not specify whether the plane belonged to an airline and
whether it was used as a passenger or transport craft.
