<<CX and SIA are pretty astute with their aircraft decisions. why do they continue to purchase airbus, only to realize the boeing aircraft is better for the respective mission? Are they mislead by the airbus sales rep, or are the prices too good to pass up?>> SQ no longer has Airbus planes, except for the A345s, only using 777s and 744s now, and the 340-500s for the US non-stops that only they can make. All signs point to SQ getting the 772LR for the 345 services when it becomes available in 2 years. CX seems to like the 4 engines 4 long haul philosophy, while using the 777s for high density local routes. It may be that the 773ER is so good that they cannot pass it up
