Smart move...go where the opportunities are, even if they don't go through your hub cities. HP is putting the squeeze on AS in both SFO and PHX for travel to the Mexican west coast. AmWest is also asking their ALPA pilots to reconsider last week's vote to turn down the latest contract. The No's outnumbered the Yeas by only five votes - and CEO Parker sez the extra $17m for the pilot's 401K program cannot be offered beyond the end of January next year due to restrictions that came w/govt loan guarantees.
