Well....if the price was "right", and the infrastructure in place, yes, there would be a HUGE demand for a 6-800 seater between Canada and Europe/Orient/India/China - somewhat "seasonal / directional" of course, but the demand is there - no question about that. The urge to VF & R's is VERY strong! Forget about F/J/Freq. Flyers etc., on an A-380 - it's just NOT going to happen! It's bad enough these days on a 340/747! Of course the "wizards" at Virgin may have something in the works to entice a few wealthy folks LHR-HKG/SYD(?).... Now, what's all this gotta do with the number of towers at DFW? Liam. YVR. Fan of single digit seat numbers. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Alireza Alivandivafa" <DEmocrat2n@xxxxxxx> To: <AIRLINE@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, December 03, 2003 1:43 PM Subject: Re: DFW TOWERS- how many? 3 TOWERS. > In a message dated 12/3/2003 1:12:42 PM Pacific Standard Time, > lrtully@xxxxxxxxx writes: > > << Only after some major "terminal surgery".... >> > > Well, we have discussed the LAX issue, so aside from that, do you think the > demand is there?
