AmWest ALPA members have rejected for the second time a new contract that would have given members a 14% raise, a defined pension plan and better job protection. Meanwhile it's business as usual for the Phoenix based carrier as pilots continue to work under their present agreement. The National Mediation Board was involved in the most recent contract negotiations.
