Continental sold you a ticket to LAX.  All they have to do is get you =
there.
They have absolutely no liability for anything else.  If they rebook you =
on
American, then American has the liability once Continental endorses the
ticket.  But American would still only have to get you to LAX.  This has
happened to our clients on numerous occasions and is one of the reasons =
why
code shares and alliances are useful for more than just shared frequent
flyer credits.=20

SYD on QF.  If CO was delayed or cxld and you missed the =

would be CO's liability if any these days? Even more what if CO cxld the
originating flight and rebooked you say AA via ORD to LAX and you missed =
the
connection....would CO be responsible always or ?Just curious what the
carriers are doing these days-they seem to be weaseling out of any costs =
